We are Retha and David. We love the way a great car and a great road can turn a trip into a story. 6 Behind is our place to share those drives, the stops we remember, and the moments between destinations.
Why the name?
Six cylinders behind us. The road ahead. It is a nod to the Porsche experience and a reminder to keep looking forward. The car matters, but so does the journey it makes possible.
What you will find here
Road-trip stories, films, Porsche conversations, and the places that make us want to take the long way. Our two benchmark drives are New Mexico 152 through the Gila National Forest and US 64 through Colfax County. Each has a different rhythm; both are spectacular.
